Welcome!

Welcome to Kidsincourt

Kids in court is a volunteer based group that is about the issues of Juveniles being Tried as Adults in the Court Systems.  We would like to change the laws that allow children as young as 12 to be tried as adults in State Courts.

We do NOT judge innocence or guilt, but address the treatment of our country's most valuable resource, our children.  Without public pressure on the State Governments and prosecutors,

this will NEVER STOP.

Tyler W. Edmonds, MS.

Tyler Edmonds has been sentenced to 50 years in Mississippi prisons for, at age 13, assisting his half sister to murder her husband.  Tyler was cocerced to confess and then recanted that confession a few days later.

The recantation of the confession and testimony of experts for the defense were not allowed to testify at his trial.

Tyler won his appeal and is currently out on bond awaiting a new trial in the near future

Tyler needs our prayers and support.

What it is all about.

Tears of happiness, tears of joy, tears of disappointment, tears of love.  All, things we knew and experienced when we were young.  Sometimes our legal system causes the young to helplessly waste all their tears of despair on a concrete floor with no one to comfort them.  For the rest of their lives there are no tears left for themselves or others.  Emotionally spent, devoid and empty inside.  One of the most cruel form of punishment is denial of existence.  Our legal system applies this daily to hundreds of children.
